Team Planting Network of Churches

CHURCHES IN OUR TEAM PLANTING NETWORK (TPN) believe we can accomplish more together than we can by ourselves. We have three main purposes: Ministry Effectiveness, On-Going Coaching, Starting More Churches.

1. MINISTRY EFFECTIVENESS: What are the most effective ways to reach people for Jesus and equip them to follow Jesus? The TPN provides an environment where biblical principles are taught and ministry ideas are shared to offer our churches the most effective ways to fulfill their mission. Accountability, Biblical Truth, and Cultural Relevancy are values that we share for effectivness in ministry.

2. ON-GOING COACHING: New Churches go through different stages of development (Conception, Birth, Health, Growth, Reproduction, etc.) Our TPN equips church planters with continual coaching through each stage the new church. You will be coached by our TPN staff, and you will be able to connect to other church planters within the network for peer-to-peer learning. Our coaching provides you with quick and biblical answers to your most pressing issues in ministry.

3. STARTING MORE CHURCHES: Our network believes in church planting all around the world. New church planters have a zeal for being on mission. We believe every church planter must answer these questions: Where will we start another church? How will we do it? Together we can start more churches as God leads us by identifying potential church planters, locating places that need new churches, and being on mission by starting churches throughout the world.

Experiential Training with Team Planting

Church Planters need two forms of training: KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE.

KNOWLEDGE: As a church planter, you will be taught the foundational principles of what it takes to start a church from scratch. The Bible will provide the basis for your learning. We teach principles, not models. At the end, you will have all the tools needed to start a healthy church that reproduces itself for God's glory.

Here are some of the practical principles you will learn: Vision, Purpose, Values, Personal Evangelism, Discipleship Process, Timeline Preparation, Fundraising, Launch Team Training, Public Worship Services, Small Groups, Children's Ministry, Starting Daughter Churches, etc.

EXPERIENCE: Team Planting has a network of church plants that you will be able to visit so you can learn first-hand from church planters who are in the trenches. You will gain valuable experience as you participate in new churches that are in different stages of church planting. (You will see StoneWater Church that is 5 years old, Lifestone Church that is 1 year old, StoneLake Church that is currently preparing for their first public worship service, and StoneWater Church of Glen Rose that is a brand new satellite campus.)

Here are some of the practical experiences you will learn on-sight: Setting up a portable church, Working with Volunteers, Operating a Children's Ministry, Forming a Worship Team, Sermon Preparation in a Church Plant, Excellence in the Worship Service, Follow-up Process with first-timers, etc.
